Danielle Franklin is the founder of Humanity + AI, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring artificial intelligence is developed and deployed in ways that center human dignity, expression, and agency.
With nearly two decades of experience working at the intersection of defense, research & development, and advanced technology, Danielle has contributed to high-impact programs across the U.S. Department of Defense and the private sector, including work with NVIDIA. Her background spans systems engineering, AI-enabled platforms, and applied research in complex, real-world environments.
Today, her work focuses on bridging human intelligence and machine intelligence—particularly where language, emotion, culture, and context are often lost or marginalized in current AI systems. Through Humanity + AI, she convenes technologists, creatives, researchers, and community members to explore how AI can amplify human expression rather than flatten it.
